How do you get only 3 net carbs when it says 22 grams of carbs. I do a low carb diet and would like to find a high protein bar.
This is based on the net carb formula:
22 grams carbs minus fiber and sugar alcohols = 3 grams net carbs per serving.
Sincerely,
Andrew
There are only 11 grams sugar alcohol and 1 gram fiber in them though so that’s still 11 net carbs per bar How do they get only 3 net out of that ? makes no sense
This is just one of the products made by Think Thin:
The way the manufacturer was listing the nutritionals:
Total Carb. 21g
Fiber 1g*
Sugars 0g
Sugar Alcohols 11g*
Glycerin 8g* (does not affect blood sugar in most people)
21 – 1 – 11 – 8 = 1g
I don’t necessarily agree with their way of computing carbs but they may do it differently now.
Sincerely,
Andrew
