Low Carb Mess of Greens Recipe

- 1 bunch collard greens
- 1 bunch turnip greens
- 1 bunch mustard greens
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cups water
- 1 small smoked ham hock
- 1 tablespoon Splenda
- salt (to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Boil the smoked ham hock or salt for 1 hour in water.
- Wash and remove the stems from greens. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces. Dice the onion into small pieces.
- Add the trimmed greens, diced onion, Splenda, salt, and pepper to the smoked ham hock and water. Cover and simmer the greens very slowly over medium-low heat until they are tender, about two hours.
