If you don’t have fresh green beans then frozen green beans are fine.

- Yield: 4 servings 1x
Ingredients
- 6 Strips bacon, cut into 1/4 inch pieces
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 pounds fresh green beans
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Fry bacon in pan over medium heat until no longer pink.
- Add pecans and continue cooking until bacon is crispy.
- Add the water, stir, then add green beans.
- Once the water starts to boil, turn heat down and cover the pan.
- Let simmer for about 15 minutes, until the beans are tender, stirring a few times.
- Remove from pan and place in serving dish.
- Season to taste and serve hot.
