Ingredients
- 2 8–ounce packages cream cheese, softened
- 2 10–ounce cans Dixie Chili (or any canned coney-type chili without beans)
- 3 to 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Moosh (this term is so culinarily technical!) the cream cheese into the bottom of a medium-sized casserole or baking dish. I like to use one of my oblong Corningware casserole dishes, which is about 12″ x 8″.
- Pour the two cans of chili on top of the cream cheese and spread the chili around so that it is evenly distributed.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the chili.
- Bake in a 350° F oven for 20 – 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the entire casserole is hot.
- Serve with low carb crackers, tortilla chips, or pepperoni crisps. Slices of cucumbers or radishes are also good “dippers.”
Notes
VARIATIONS
If you want a little extra zing in your chili dip, you can add a few drops of hot sauce or chopped jalapeno peppers.

Does anyone know of any “Coney-style” chili available in Canada?
