Serving Size : 4
Preparation Method
- 6 skinless boneless chicken breast
- 70 grams sesame seeds — 1/4 cup +1 Tablespoon
- 70 grams soy flour — 1/4 cup +1 Tablespoon
- salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons water
- 5 mm oil for shallow frying
For our main dish we go to Israel for a simply prepared poultry dish. Try if possible to use free range chickens. They are certainly more expensive, but worth the extra for the taste and they are not full of antibiotics
Combine the sesame seeds, flour, salt and pepper in a dish. Lightly coat the chicken with the mix. Beat the egg and water together. Dip chicken in the egg mixture, shake of excess and then into the herb mix. Place the chicken on a cooking tray and chill in fridge for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 (180°C).
Heat about 1/4 inch (5mm) of oil in a frying pan or skillet and lightly brown both sides of the chicken breasts, 2 minutes per side. Place the chicken back on the tray and bake for 25 minutes. Serve hot.
