Ingredients
- 3 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
- 3 ounces freshly shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg
- 3 heaping tablespoons plain (unflavored) protein powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt (to taste)
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
- Nonstick olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375° F and lightly spray a cookie sheet with olive oil spray.
- Combine the softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, and the egg in a small bowl.
- Blend in the plain (unflavored) protein powder and the garlic salt with a fork or your hands.
- Gather the dough into a ball and knead it lightly until it is the consistency of Play Dough.
- Put the toasted sesame seeds on a clean dinner plate.
- Roll the dough into 8 thin logs by hand, and then roll each log in the sesame seeds until it is evenly coated. Place the logs on the cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until they are lightly browned.
- Remove the Crunchy Garlic Sticks to a bread basket and serve immediately.
